bigtimedesigns
Why are MA and Cadence amps so cheap in price? Are they descent? Quote Visit My Website
ChampN252
I hear modified, MA amps can throw down with the best. I'll soon find out cause I have a 4000 I'm trying to get modded. I alway wanted to learn more about Cads. All their stuff esp. their speaker and components.......maybe subs for kicks. reinke
Why are MA and Cadence amps so cheap in price? Are they descent? i used to have a full cadence set up. back in the early 90's there were like how Fi and RE is today Edited December 13, 2007 by reinke Quote ----reference's---- meade916
thacarter546
Some of the cadence tx series had a problem. They had a high defect rate and some of em shot straight dc into a couple subs. Ma is decent, a little bit overrated, but you get what you pay for. REVOK1NER
I had an MA Audio 4400 watt amp and it was a horrible amp, it would randomly turn off, then eventually it kept heating up one of the voice coils on one of my subs and then it was toast. Maybe I just had one of the bad ones haha. thacarter546
Really they are decent amps, its just you get what you pay for the qc is NOT there there are defect ones. Hifonics is in the same boat. There are people with great and people with not so great. If you were looking for a big mono amp on the cheap i love the Power Acoustik A3000db i have one and love it for the money.
REVOK1NER
I agree PA makes a very great amp for a very low price. I mean the PS1-5500D pushes out 3200 RMS at 1-ohm and it is only $298 shipped, PA is your best bet for inexpensive power in my opinion.
