TheOneQ8 Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 I have chevy C1500 extanded cab 1991 and i installed : 1) Pioneer MVH-P8200BT head unit 2) two Pioneer 10' subs in custom 2.2 cubic ft sealed box 3) it powered by Pioneer GM-D8500M wired in parallel with the subwoofers 4) 4 gauge china cable for the Ground and Power and a shity RCA cable 5) one pair of 6" X 9" Pioneer TS-A6994R in 2 box wired directly to the head unit Ii gona change the Ground and Power with amp kit Tsunami AMP01BL 0 gauge cable , change the RCA to Monster Cable subwoofer RCA and the speaker wire to Monster Cable 10 Gauge. Im also gona add Rockford Fosgate RFC2D Capacitor for the amp. Do i need to add another pair of 6" X 9" and wired them to Rockford Fosgate Punch P300-2 and is there batter options for my bulid ???

But if you want to you can always get an adaptor plate for the 6x9's to replace them with 6.5" components. Just a thought. As for the amp, you might as well get a 4-channel and take the original 6x9's off the deck. You may not need 0 ga for your install. component set are better than 6 x 9's. You'd better use an amplifier on them, and no, you don't need another set of speakers. Best thing to do is to run them in front of your car; not in the back. If the rca works, why change it ? Good luck in Kuwait ! why not use a cap ? and in my country we dont have AGM battery we only have OEM ones i cant order them from US the shipping fee is the same price as the battery i allrady have two 6 x 9 in the back and two 4 x 6 in the dash iam only asking if it be better to add another set in the back and wire the 4 of them to amp
