Bakerman
Hey guys...I got a question, that is possibly a simple answer, so don't troll please. Okay, so my amp is 55w RMS at 4 ohms, and 110w RMS at 2 ohms. Most of the mid drivers i'm finding are 4 ohms. My question is this...of course I know if i get a 2 ohm driver, it will be seeing 110w RMS (supposed the amp is 100% efficient). If I put two 4 ohm drivers in parallell for a 2 ohm load, will each driver get it's own 110w, or will the 110w be split up, giving me two drivers with 55w each? kirill007
both drivers will get 55w. So the power will get split between the two. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
