FCsteve Posted December 17, 2007 Author Report Share Posted December 17, 2007 didnt realize it was 12", this is directly from FI's forum at *** forevrbumpnBTL 12 – Ported box we recommend using 1.75-2.5 cubic feet @ 30-35Hz (I personally think that a 32hz tuning is optimal, and has the most output and is still the most musical daily driving). Use 12-16 square inches of vent area per cubic foot of volume. so tuning to 32 would not waste anything so to answer ur first question fcsteve, scott the owner of FI believes 32Hz tuning is fine, if not great tuning im a member on *** too. i never looked over there for this tho. thanks.
