corey0928
If cars meter louder with windows opened/doors opened/whatever, would a car hit higher if there were air leaks from doors not being shut all the way or just being a little bit of a gap in a seal somewhere? Freshman6969
i wouldent think the small gap would be a huge change, itd be small if any, if your going for a sealed score, then the leaks would make a diff Quote Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k! Why would you EVER WANT flex?huh?...flex is what can make the lows lower and more air being pushed correct? corey0928
Dont go pulling off all your weather stripping, lol lol wasn't planning on it. I was just curious since people get louder with things open so i didn't know if it would make a big enough difference for people to "cheat" I don't really care about spl scores since I have never been metered and I my build is slowly coming together
HHR Ed
It has to be strategic leakage. Not just some random gap. And usually only makes a difference in the higher range of 150s and up.
