trpkkd
Hi I have an old memphis power reference 12 and I can't find any enclosure recommendations I can find the specs and everything on their site but nothing about enclosures. I have it in a prefab box right now I know I know. That's why I want to find the recommendations so I can build my own box so if any of you have built a box for one and remember the dimensions that would awesome or know where I can find them I would be greatly appreciative thanks. Joe X
What are the max dims you can fit, vehicle, and amp models?
trpkkd
I have a ford explorer so space isn't to much of a concern and right now I'm running a pioneer 760 the specs say the amp does 380 x 1 bridged at 4 ohms.
trpkkd
Any suggestions on how many cubes I should need? It does pretty good in the prefab box it shakes the whole damn truck on that little amp, but I'd like to get the most out of it I can. Joe X
Ok here is a siggestion based on Memphis spec, use Torres calculator to make your own spec or build as follows: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 35.031 Hz Vb = 1.9 ft^3 External Height = 14 in External Width = 28.25 in External Depth = 15 in Port Width = 2 1/4 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: Top & Bottom = 28 1/4 x 15 Left & Right Sides = 13 1/2 x 12 1/2 Front & Back = 28 1/4 x 12 1/2 L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 11 1/4 x 12 1/2 Extension = 12 x 12 1/2 Assembly guide (generic dimensions): Let me know any questions.
