thats a 700 watt amp, at best. 8 gauge is way over kill. the max gauge that would be worth it would be like 12 gauge

edit: $150 for a 700 watt amp of that quality is a huge rip off, by the way

On the chart what does the ohm rating mean.? For example my subs are d1.4s in parrallel so .7 wired with 8g..how many watts can the wire support

ALTERNATORS: 3-mechmans 1- 425comp, 1-smd spec350, 1-270 with adj voltage harness on custom dc bracket

WIRE:10-runs 0g front to back

BATTERIES:6-d1400s

TL results:157.1 at 38hz and 156.8 at headrest score @37hz. STATE AND NATIONAL RECORD IN MECA S5.

Its a 1200 watt, 3000 peak and it slams for what it is. sundown amp coming soon.

IIRC 10 gauge is what fits in the SA-12 terminals.

Just use either that or 12 gauge.
