wmrcs
Mine does that when I open the back hatch and the port has nothing to load up on. Interesting. Should I move my box closer to the hatch? It's nearly a foot away.. I would shoot for 6-8 inches or the width of the port. Aight I'll move it closer in the morning and see what happens. If it fixes it I will be super happy. I honestly doubt moving it 3inches back is going to take that weird sound away. The sounds is like roof flex, only coming from the sub.. I just find it hard to belive that you messed up that sub from only 1200 watts not including box rise ect.. Take a volt meter to the coils. That would be the first thing I would do. I would move it like7 inches Nikita. And I never heard it when I had it closer when I had my seat up.. I will test it on Monday or Tuesday. wmrcs
Mine does that when I open the back hatch and the port has nothing to load up on. Okay I moved my box about 6 inches from my hatch and it's still making the noise. Is there any possibility it could be from stress on the basket?? because I didn't hear it when I had the sub inverted. I will check the coils on either monday or tuesday with a DMM.. big dee
How big is your box? And how much power are toubputting on it? You could have to much airspace for the power your running.
big dee
And if the subs not fully broke in it will sound kinda shitty. Mine sounds better now its broken in.
big dee
And also it could be somthing in the car making the noise. I had a poping sound in my truck at full tilt. I thought it was my sub but it turned out to be the dash poping from flexing so hard. It sound exactly like it was the sub. The sounds bounce around and can fool you on the location there coming from.
