Sundown SA-12 dual Ported box

I have 2 sa-12's d4's wired to 1-ohm power by a 10dx1000.1, and they are going in a '97 ls400. Any subs I put in my car tend to be a LOT quieter than every other car. The gas tank is behind the back seats, so all the sound waves have to go through the rear deck, so..... I want to build a box with the highest efficiency for my subs, ported to 34hz with the port facing up. I don't know what size to make the box or anything... I can build it 30 wide, 15 tall and 24 deep... I want the subs facing outwards towards the license plate, and the port in the middle back of the box facing upwards towards the rear deck, any help or a design of a box would be greatly appreciated.

You could try and put the port up and cut a whole in the Rear Deck and make a port extension through there. A guy around where I live did this to his car and it sounded quite nice.

I don't know if you watch Soundman Car Audio on youtube, but they did it to a couple cars and it looked and sounded good.

I cut out the rear deck, but its still not loud enough, I have an aero port in a 3.8cu ft box ported to 35 hz, and it doesn't sound that great, it doesn't hit the lows like I want, although its loud, I want a slot-ported box. :/ I just need help designing one.

have you thought about 4th order and sealing port onto rear shelf

or even 6th order sealed through rear shelf

there very common here in the Ls400, (they run the port through the old sub hole)

I already cut out the rear deck, so the old sub hole is totally gone... I am just going to make a slot ported with the port going up almost through the rear deck. Thanks for the idea though. I'm gonna look for what everybody else did right now.
