may03LT
Hey all! Im doing a top-post conversion for a kinetic batt and I want to solder all the ring terminals like Meade does. I had a length of 1/0 and a 1/0 terminal, which i was going to practice on, but the wire felt kinda loose in the ring terminal so i didnt do it. Am I supposed to buy the next size smller ring terminal? I thought i remember reading that somewhere...... Thx!

may03LT
Well I looked at the write up again.....it just looks like theres a much tighter fit of the wire(s) in the terminal(s) before they were soldered.....but Ill give it a try

may03LT
I got the terminals and the wire from darvex. The terminals are very similar to the ones Meade used/ uses. They are 1/0. Ill also have to do some 4 and some 8 (for the fuse block/alt/starter wires). Like i said i'll give it a try....practice makes perfect....and Ill take some pics....
