Bought refurb SAE1200Dv2 from a well known repair company w/ warranty. Got it around 2+ weeks later, no biggie.. Went out, hooked it up to make sure she powered on, and nadda. No green light and no bass. All fuses "appeared" to be good. Took each one of the 5 out to inspect. Power read around 14v+ @ inputs while idle. Remote read 13.5ish@ term while idle. Ground cable was abit long 3-4ft+-, didnt want to trim till amp was in final install placement. Ground read .01ohm from car metal -> end of wire. I have shipped it back to where I bought it from, however, could this have been an "install error" or "wiring" issue? (I just removed my Kenwood amp only a few days before, which powered up and worked just fine with the new 1/0 wiring.) I was told the remote wire should "read the same" as the power. Not sure why it doesnt, maybe its the 22gauge vrs 1/0... Idk.... Only thing I changed since then was the grounding cable to 1/0 from 4. Well, and ran all new 1/0 wire and tore out the 4. Thoughts?
