SimonSezGoDwnBit
I GOT A 2000 VIC AND I HAVE JUST BOUGHT 4 L5 12S FOR $400 BRAND NEW, I ALREADY GOT A PAIR OF ZX1000.1 S FOR EACH and my 650.4 on my mids and 200.4 on my highs. which im about to upgrade to a 350.4 cause there way underpowering my tweeters. yes i have done the big three with double 1/0 kolosus running EVERYWHERE and 1 run going to zx1000 in the back and the mids and highs ran to the back off some more 1/0 kollosus broken into 4 gauge. MMY REASON I AM HERE AND QUESTION IS, my car in the shop getting painted and i wont have it for about a month because its out of town and the guys busy but i need to know if this box for the 4 l5 12s will fit with the trunk lid being able to close and all that without having to mod anything majorly.. i DONT wanna have to get the box than return it because it doesnt fit.. and i have no patients im trying to order all my audio while its in shop. if the box doesnt fit i'll just upgrade to 2 15 l7s ported. here the box im questioning ANOTHER QUESTION does it look like this box is truly tuned to 36hz? mattc3366
Just build your own box to fit. Don't buy a prefab. Get your max dimensions and have someone design you a box. You'll be much happier in the end. subwoofers - two eclipse 88120s box - 3.4 cubes tuned to 32 hz amps - aq1200 and pheonix gold zx450 New build : 2 obsidian audio 15s same amp 6.1 cubic foot box tuned to 32 hz in a civic hatch

db race
a friend of mine had four L7 15s in a crown vic and they had to build the box inside the trunk to get it to fit. Personally you will appreciate it alot more if you get a custom box built. If you dont mind the trunk rattle (which apparently you dont based on the prefab box design) I would reccomend a sub floor. draper
Idk it would be close. my box is 40x26x18 with sub up port up. You should really build your own box. with 4 12's you don't really have the room for all those dividers and ports.Way to much potential net volume lost. Also if it did actually fit, you would be wasting trunk space because the box would be sitting on the side steps of the trunk... 97 crown vic kenwood hu big 3 mechman 270 amp alt 1 d3400 2 d3100 hiffonics collosus (bass) Hifonics Zues (mids and highs) 2 15in kicker l7s dynamat extreme sound deadner viper secured
Guest
i wouldn't touch that box with a 30ft pole. those 4 subs are going to need like 10 cubes of space, probably more. its gonna be hard as hell trying to fit them all well inside the trunk. CortezDTV
I got a 99 grand marquis No that is to wide, if you put the box in the well in the trunk its 40.5 inches across, any bigger it wont fit all the way to the bottom In my experience 25 is the max height, 26 will work in some places but it will rub And the biggest deep I've done is 24 deep, But current box is a 4th order 3 sealed 6 ported ish 10 cubes 40.5 wide 25 tall and 21.5 deep 3/4 birch.
