I mean im sure its alot stronger but is there any other reasons? audiofanaticz Posted April 14, 2012 Report Posted April 14, 2012 yup. a bunch of reasons. a couple would be that the baffle thickness acts as a port, it also helps the woofers from unloading or having crazy back pressure due to the depth of the baffle acting as an enclosure (even tho its not).
