He wanted to know how many D3100's would he need to decently run his 4 5500's and about 2kW of mids/high amps. He'll have 2 300a Alts installed as well. He was thinking 6 if possible just because there's space for it. What do you guys think? I'd guess atleast 10 batts maybe someone else can put there 2 sense in. I'm only saying that because my friends got 6 hc2400s an got close to 900 amps of charging power on 4 sundown 4500s and I see how much drop he has

The xp3000s are more suited towards daily systems from what ive read but cannot be used as engine bay batteries. But what the heck was he going to power with 22k watts of RMS power anyways in a Firebird. He doesn't even need that much power to get loud in something like that. Here's what he should do in my opinion: Wall off on two 18"s 4,000 watts RMS Curious on this dual 300 amp setup but if so a nice starter battery and two XP2000 in the back And he should be more than happy. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

I'm only saying that because my friends got 6 hc2400s an got close to 900 amps of charging power on 4 sundown 4500s and I see how much drop he has Im the guy hes talking about I have 900a worth of alt, and 6 batts 10 runs of wire And 4 saz4500s I can drop to 12v on music if i want it to, i dont let it under 12.5v Even then its only for a few sec. Now on burps i see 10.x Which isnt good, im also running the amps at .35ea which is quite low... I plan on 6 more batts and a bit more alt 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole
