bigmescan Posted August 28, 2012 Author Report Share Posted August 28, 2012 cleanup up a lil more and shortened the grounds................. . was at lowes to buy foam and i saw these........they are furniture movers and on the back side they have maybe a 1/4in of rubber so i used this to seel off both 5x7 holes in the back. worked pretty good. so i sealed it up and then i forgot to seal off that black vent you see in the pic..............i dont know how i forgot that......its gonna have to wait another day. on another note its beginning to hit even harder. bigmescan Posted August 28, 2012 Author Report Share Posted August 28, 2012 also i have a few question. 1. do i set the non fader to phase or manual at the moment i have it set manual and on mono not stereo 2.do i set my EQ to flat. i have the eclipse 5030 it has the 7band parametric eq 3. i have the option to do position select. front...front left...front right.. or rear i have it set to front left 4.i also have the Xover on the 5030 for the woofer set at 80hz at a -12db front and rear set to 100hz.....they are being run off the 400.4 RF power 5. also on my 1000.1 do i leave the infrasonic on or off..... Nice job! appreciate it man...............and i believe alot of my problem was the bass knob that i have......its a bass boost and not a gain knob...so im gonna go buy a gain knob and start from there. the one i have now is a boost from 0 to +18db at 45hz........i kept wondering why my bass wouldnt shut off when i turned the knob down. and now i know.
