Planning Out Mids/highs

heyy every one im deffinately an amature to the making things sound really good area of car audio lol

right now i got some phenix gold 6x9s in the rear of my car and some jensen:( in the doors, nothing great

i drive a 91 escort gt and i wanna make some custom kick pannels or some thing for speakers to go there

and also fit my car with some good mids and highs what do people recomend

any advice or input would be greatly appreciated

Some really nice brands for mids and highs would include Focal, Hertz, Rainbow...I head CDT is nice but I havent personally had a chance to listen to a pair yet. Hertz is definately the best bang for your buck though imo. Even thier enrty level under $200 components sound phenomenal...

awsome thanks i was looking for brands that would be better to go with and ya i am gonna try making some kick pods

i have been reading alot about them and making them through out this site so now its just putting ideas and money which i still need some of to work

You can get some CDT Classics for around 140.00 and there awesome!!!

so i browsed through those 3 brands you gave me and i came up with a choice of the hertz HSK 163

and the focal 165 V3 E

both are 3 way which would you guys suggest. if i can find some where with either of those

and how would the best way to set them up be?

the woofers in door and then the mid and tweet in a pod?
