Sheena
you can tune low for skars, really just depends where you want to peak at and what music you listen to. im tuned at 32 and the lows crush, i havent tuned anywhere different so im not entirely sure. but 30-35 is the accepted range that ive seen ran for a daily application. HunterJohnson
I love the lows! More air moves the better, I'm going to tune to 30hz for sure. But i just need help with the design because my space is so limited Quote Scion tC SQ BuildiPad mini, lots of fabrication, daily drivenFord Explorer C Pillar Wall Build Just a cheap car to destroy with bass

Zapanater
Just my two cents, but make a bigger port. If that's a three inch, go with a 4. Or a 6. Quote 2015 Subaru Outback. That is all, I refuse to touch it.
Sheena
for reference, i did a 4.5cu ft box tuned to 32hz in my friends 07 scion and he was about 2-3" over his back seats, so we had to keep them laid down. i didnt get to test and see if subs up forward or back was loudest as he wrecked the bitch. we had subs forward and it wasnt too bad, im guessing subs and port up is the loudest though with 2 12s on 1500w you could get away with a 3.5 cu ft box. plenty of space to play with IMO without wedging it. unless you want to. (your seats should stay up as well with only 3.5 cu ft) Edited April 18, 2012 by Sheena Quote 09 Civic EX KDC-X395 (2) SKAR Audio VVX-12 Skar Audio SK-1500.1 4 cu ft @32 (new box and more port soon) Firing Forward not sealed off Stock 80 Amp Alt Big 3 In 1/0 Knu 2 Runs To The Back 1 Pos 1 Neg In 1/0 Knu DD-1'd 13.8v drop
HunterJohnson
the seats have to stay up because I have a rack there in the back for the amps. My type x is loudest port to the rear. When its up for some reason its not as loud.
