1 Sock
Help me please before I pull out what little hair I have left on my head. I have 2 12" BL fully loaded They Will receive 2500 watts going into a 2003 f150 I built a new box and will be using aero ports, Subs down port up. Fi says to use 12-16 square inches of vent area per cubic foot of volume, and to tune 32-37hz When i punch everything into Torre's calculator This is what I get: In order to achieve the Port area per foot I need three 6" ports. But the tuning is 60hz! I was shooting for 35-36hz am I doing something wrong here? Will this function correctly? A little guidance will be appreciated. Also with the aero ports the the length in the calculator mean from flare to flare or am I supposed to add or subtract to compensate for the flares? Thanks in advance! CleanSierra
Extend the port length to drop your tuning. Your air space might be too much as well. You also have too much port area as Kranny said, the damn ninja. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
carshateme
You're going to have to do an external port. New build coming soon. 1 Sock
Probably just build another new box, Would it be OK if i went subs down both ports out 1 side of the box? or does that kind of set up not work? 23" ports if i use aero ports do i need to adjust the 22" length to account for the flared ends or does that not matter?
