When you say "they" what deck are you referring to? I suggested Kenwood and Pioneer. My last deck was a DDX-896 eXcelon and it was the SHIT. Whoever stole it would agree, I'm sure. It had 11 bands of EQ, didn't clip AT all, digital time alignment and all kinds of Xover capability. It was super nice.

ok my friend has pioneer avh 4100 and got the 4300 but returned it because it was crap compared to the old one

I had the 4300 in my truck till about a week ago. If it sounded bad I would look at the speakers and settings. Truth.

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

I've always had Pioneer and I think there fantastic (not a double din though) I would kill for the appradio one, I think the model number is like sph-da100?

Edit: Nevermind, I just read that it only has 2v preouts haha but eitherway, I love pioneer.

I've never run a pioneer in my life. I suggested because I know a lot of guys are happy with the double dins. I've always run Kenwood and probably always will. Their eXcelon stuff is hard to beat.

I was going to suggest the excelon series. They're nice
