Saltine Posted November 13, 2006 Author Report Share Posted November 13, 2006 no, the tint ticket only state troopers are enforcing this new crackdown, not the New Orleans Police i have 5% on my rear, side and front window. the front is past the "ns??" legal line 5% and then 35% from the front brow all the way down gives the impression that its not tinted but it is hard to see in and helps with glare big time the cop stopped me on world famouse CANAL STREET. said just my doors were to dark and should be 40% not the metered 5% didnt care about the front or rear and then since i had my box cutter and my gun it took 5 state troopers to write that ticket, got my complimentary pat down, dash cam recording, ect ect ect i got a speeding ticket on the way home to. 49 in the 35 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Saltine Posted November 15, 2006 Author Report Share Posted November 15, 2006 in the end my aunt took care of them for me. just b/c of me riding with my gun they had me spread out on the car, 5 state troopers to write the ticket,complimentary pat down, dash cam recorded, gun displayed on hood for all ppl walking by to see, gun unloaded and returned, ect ect. hate to see what would have happened if i was black. im in this area every weekend, so anyone who seen my gun on the car now knows i have it so i have to hide it pretty good and hope noone breaks my window and steals it. Saltine Posted November 17, 2006 Author Report Share Posted November 17, 2006 cant carry it on me all the time, well i can get a permit which isnt a problem but when i go out like right before they got me for tint, i was on the way to a strip club. my friend runs one so i go down there alot, free drinks, look at some titties ect ect ect. got a few friends that run some bars so i take advantage of free liquor get caught with a gun in a bar isnt a good thing, get caught with it while intoxicated also not good, but i know my limits and usually dont even head to the car if im buzzin. Lousiana law is your car is an extension of your home, so basically you can carry your gun in your car and blast a carjacker if need be as long as the gun is yours and legal if you want to hide it in the car, glover box, under seat ect or on you and carry it in certain places you need a permit, or just dont get caught Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
