scooter99 Posted July 23, 2012 Report Posted July 23, 2012 Time for MOR updates! Last night I got all my wire to the trunk, back seat put together, and I took apart my factory dash speakers so I could mount the front tweeters inside of them. Everything going in to the trunk. Drilled some holes that were already there a little bit bigger to get the wire as close as I could to the floor. Looking good, except here. GET A GROMMET ON THAT POWER WIRE! That sheet metal will cut through that jacket and things will be alllllll bad! A $.25 piece of circle rubber (grommet) will stop thousands of dollars of destruction! Otherwise it's looking good! Tuned in! Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build
Tyler_Krupa Posted July 23, 2012 Author Report Posted July 23, 2012 GET A GROMMET ON THAT POWER WIRE! Actually after taking this picture i wrapped the wire in tons of electrical tape to protect it but i would like to eventually get a grommet on that. YouTube
scooter99 Posted July 23, 2012 Report Posted July 23, 2012 Ok! Glad you're addressing it. We don't want any burn downs. Keep up the good work! Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build
gorillakev Posted July 24, 2012 Report Posted July 24, 2012 Nice build. I did a lil simple setup on my 940 n/a. Looks good keep it up, good to see another volvo 940 doing a system build.
Tyler_Krupa Posted September 27, 2012 Author Report Posted September 27, 2012 I didnt take many pics of the driving light install but here is what I have. I mounted the two relays for each set of lights on this brace using bolts that were already there I ran the wires with all the factory wires. After I took this pic I hid them behind the factory stuff The travel through this grommet and come out under the dashboard. There the fog-light relay gets attached to the factory fog-light switch and the Driving light relay gets hooked up to the high-beam switch with a kill switch in the middle so I don't always have to have them on with my highs. Fog-lights got mounted into the metal bumper from the bottom and the driving lights got mounted to the plastic on ether side of the grill. Here she is all done! Its getting close to the end of the season here in N.H. so not much more will be happening till spring. Finally then this car will get a little closer to the ground along with other suspension upgrades. YouTube
