Enersys PowerSafe batteries!!!

Hey guys, as many of you may know, my experience about electricals isn´t the best, i know SHIT about batteries or alternators lol, i´ve bought a mechman alternator and a XS Power D3100 thanks to you guys and i´m happy as hell with the results so far, but, it´s time for me to start another topic with another stupid doubt lol

Anyways, i´m from latin america, and the price for xs power batteries it´s plain STUPID!!!! we are talking about 400$ for a single D3100, i can´t find XP batteries around here and if i could, it would cost almost 400$ a piece, since i´m gonna rebuild my explorer soon i want to ask a few question about enersys powersafe batteries, this is the model:

I can find those batteries CHEAP AS HELL!!!!!! we are talking about getting 3 of these batteries for the price of a D3100 lol , i´m not gonna compete with this setup, it´s only for demoing by the way, what do you guys say? those batteries are crap? they can get the job done better than using just an extra D3100????

Power is gonna be 2 American Bass VFL120.1 wired at 0.5 ohms a piece, mechman 270A alternator, 4 runs of 0 gauge , D3100 on front and the shitty batts on the back if that´s the case, power is definitely gonna be upgraded in a few months also, maybe 2 sundown´s 4500.1

looks like those are built to last rather than high performance. but obviously if you get enough of them, it wont matter too much. but they are lead acid batteries and i wouldnt like to see you breathing in toxins. you're too nice for that.

About the batteries placement, car is gonna be walled and the batteries all the way back, pretty sure i ain´t gonna breath toxins, at least i hope so lol, i´m curious about the batts since they say 150AH and we are talking maybe 100$ a piece

400 $ for a D 3100 or what? European distribution ask 419 GBP this is 676 Dollar US. For little under 400 you get a little D1200.

That is more than braking the bank. ===========

the HVAC system in your car will take air from the back and recirculate it. at least im pretty sure thats how it works. maybe you could hook up hoses to the vents on each battery? lead those hoses out of the car.

driving around, your alt probably wont charge them enough to cause them to vent, since they are valve regulated. if you use a battery charger made for flooded batteries then those will likely cause the batteries to vent because they "force charge" for like an hour after the battery is fully charged. you will hear the battery boil. so it all depends on how cautious you think you need to be with the gas.

AH is nice, but you need something that discharges quickly. a couple extra batteries could make up for a slower discharge rate though. obviously you could do better in a battery, but power is power. load those things up and they will work.
