I searched for 10 minutes looking on here and cant find anything. I see people covering every panel with deadner and no gaps and then I see people using small pieces here and there. I just ordered some deadner but only 12 SQ feet as it is all I can afford right now. Where is the best place to put it?? full pieces or do I cut small ones?? thanks BTW its going in my 95' k1500

I'd opt for the "as needed" approach. Thump on the panel and listen to it. If it resonants or sound tinny, apply some material.

Personally I like to start in the middle with a 6" square patch, thump some more, apply another patch, and so on. Typically I find myself using 1-2 sq. ft. of material per door, other areas vary a lot from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Areas that are prone to flex (such as roofs) definitely benefit from being covered completely as you are kind of creating a barrier... though it's not very efficient to use deadener as bracing/structural support...

Just like they said above. Turn that thing up and listen to where you have the most need for it.. When I had my S10 Xcab. I put it on the back wall and it helped out a ton. You may need it in different places.

Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born.

My penis is bigger than your penis

I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.

Using whole sheets (or close to it) is always best but not entirely feasible. When cutting to fit, I try not to make any pieces any smaller than 3" x 3".

But yeah with the scrap pieces I just use them all even in the weirdest places...
