2003 Ford Explorer, SLOW BUILD...

Ok this is going to be a Very Slow build... I am no longer an installer and got a job part time at Lowes because car audio is pretty much dead in this frozen waste land. So to start with I wanted a new car but since I only work part time and have 4 children to support I am just going to redo my entire car.

Equipment will be a

Kenwood KDC BT945U

2 Selenium St400TRIO super tweeters

1 set of Polk Audio 5.25 DB components

1 set of Polk Audio 6.50 MM components

2 Polk audio DB 8" subs svc 4 ohm

2 Polk audio MM 8" subs svc 4 ohm

16 Polk audio 10" DB1040 dvc 4 ohm

2 Polk audio PA500.4 amps

4 Polk audio PA1000.1 amps

2 Optima yellow tops

2 C&D agm batts

1 Singer Alternator 250 amp -soon to be 2

6 runs of 0 gauge

I went to the junk yard today and found a totaled Pontiac G6, I liked the round vents. So I got started on my dash tonight, I will be doing a lot of fiberglassing and attempting to make the inside of the car look newer (should be fun).

have to figure out a way to glass this all in

Ok so here is a little progress, this is a slow build because now that I'm doing installs on my own I'm busier than before.

And 1 of my new baby girl.

As of right now I have a dilemma of either running the 16 10" subs - 1 18" DD 3518 - 2 18" DD 9518's - or 4 Rockford Fosgate 12's

I do have a contractual obligation to run the 10's for a year but I'm thinking of buying a small station wagon and doing a tunnel with them.
