chronic2001
I think you might be able to squeeze a xs power d3400 under the hood. I measured with my battery still in the truck and it would be close. I measured with my battery still in the truck and it would be close. Length – 10.24 in Height – 7.20 in Width – 6.75 in I tried to place my D1600 (same dimensions as the D3400) in the spot and it wont fit without modifying the mount surface a bit. It should fit with minor modification though. chronic2001
Put my 3400 in today just needed to bend the tray wall closest to the front end a little took about 15 minutes. Tarball
Haven't done anything further to the stereo, though I did get my transmission put in and the oil pan gasket changed (fun to do without pulling the engine). I have 50ft of 1/0 on order and a 14v charger. Piecing it together. I did get 1 D1400 and some damplifier pro since my last update here. Maybe that will be another thread. The D1400 is the same dimensions as the D3400 and I dropped it in just to see. The tray can be easily modified for a nice fit. Sux that I just painted it though. lol **edit- trying to modify this thread into a build log. Tarball
Been doing some more work on the truck. Cnverted to electric fan, have the floorboard cleaned up, primered, painted, almost ready for deadening. Headliner is removed now also. Today I plan on cutting the hole through the bed/cab and then laying down some deadener. I'll post some pics later.
