Nice little sub. Your commercials are shorter than mine but still too long lol.

hahaha, I'll stop the teasers lol. Thanks, I'm actually getting the enclosure all glued up right now and caulked. I don't want to show the box until it's done and installed

Thats cool I just couldn't pass it up. I should have more on mine soon just sewing up the rear panel. Tuned in to see the results.

Can't wait to see. It would be easier for me to find it though if you put the link in your signature

That false floor looks great man! Very nice job carpeting it, it looks downright professional. Now get that box made!

Thanks! I'm really wanting to to move on too lol. If everything works out then I will get the in on friday. I will probably use a temp box until I can get the access to a tablesaw and circle cutter. I'm going to buy a 230A singer alt next week too :D I'm trying to have the sub shipped to me, I accidentally had it shipped home rather than my college address where I am now.

I do this all the effing time haha. Fortunately I live an hour away from my school.

2015 Subaru Outback. That is all, I refuse to touch it.

  • 2 weeks later...

I haven't posted in a while. I've been waiting to post the final product, but I've had some serious setbacks so I'll just post what I've got so far lol

I got a box built. Made from 3/4" birch ply, liquid nails, and some caulking

wood wood wood

Thank god for a circle cutter :D

from cutting to assembling it was pretty boring... so here it is

I was a little tight so I had to use a hand planer on the top corners to get a tight fit

Next step was to get some terminals in da bish

Oh yea, the sub, that I broke already, I'm a dumbass. I'm looking at PSI recones right now as well as another guy from SPL audio who does recones on the side

DAT ASSSSSSS

a slight cosmetic issue

So I hooked it up to my amp and played for half an hour or so and I didn't set the gains properly because I was just very eager to get out and hear it. I didn't think I would hurt it but I did

Soooooo I'm set back, I might as well get the box looking nice while deciding what to do as far as a recone goes
