Thank you sir, and 750k, that's impressive, goal with my car is to get to the point of having to reset the odometer for oil changing purposes.

I really don't have any plans on walling it, would be tough on the suspension, and it's my only vehicle I drive as well, and I take friends along on it but I do plan an SQL system on it, so I'll do a trunk wall, gonna try to have a nice sounding car, while still having the bass I enjoy :D.

Though, when I get older, with career, I wanna see if I can get my dad's 2003 Kia Sorento for cheap, now that's the vehicle I'd be willing to wall cause it has all the right pieces to become one, and right now it's the house's work horse. Oh the crazy ideas lol

Very small update, but got this neat little voltmeter off ebay for $3 with free shipping, though took a month to get, I like it so far, so gonna install it on Friday.

Also finally found my Canon, so Super Marco picture ftw

Other Updates:

Took my car to the mechanic to replace the timing belt, ended up replacing the timing belt, radiator hose, radiator, and one of the rear bulbs, so took a huge hit to my budget, but I was prepared for it and the car drives a lot better now. Also have to buy books for college, so anything new is going to wait for a while, though more deadening is in plan of order after books are bought, and I came to discover Singer can make me a 260 amp alt for my car(Mechman and DC power didn't bother), so gonna redo my budget for it too along with new batteries in plan, but this a long term plan, gonna take a while.

Future plans so far I have planned, and plan to accomplish everything sometime next year hopefully(not set in stone)

2 Skar VVX12's in a 4 cu ft box tuned to 31hz sealed off facing forward

AQ 2200.1 and AQ 120.4

S3400 up front, XP 3000 rear, Singer 260a, Big 3 (yeah, I know, overkill)

Fiberglassed a-pillars, Focals replaced with Peerless 6.5's , and set back for rear stage

Gonna go for an SQL setup with proper staging and imaging on a budget while still having a back massager

Opinion on plans or build so far?

Other updates:

Gonna order more audio technix to finish up my trunk, and to do my front doors. Also ordered a new AFE air filter for my car to help increase mpg a little, and also due to the fact it's rewashable

Small update, installed a new air filter, which is an AFE air filter. Things I noticed after installing it, car drives alot smoother, doesn't feel as "heavy" to drive, engine is alot quieter, and on the electrical side, voltage drops aren't as bad anymore, doesn't drop below 12 volts outta 13.5, used to drop to 11 volts with the old air filter, most likely cause since the engine wasn't running right, result in the alternator not running right.

277437_524713120878945_603236743_o.jpg

Also upgraded the grounds as well, I found a random copper bar from when I took apart an elliptical( don't ask lol), so I put in between the original ground(which was some weird tin thing the car's electrical wires were grounded too), and the ground wire. Noticed a slight gain in output, and the amp doesn't run as hot anymore. I didn't take the picture, I'll probably take one if you guys are curious.

News(good and bad)

Good news: I got a good deal for some more 80 mill audio technix from another member, so gonna use it to finish up my trunk and do doors next weekend.

Bad news: I maybe outta a job for a few months cause my job is project based, so no projects meaning no job for me to do till they call me to come back, manager said it was normal. So meaning the electrical upgrades I wanna do, and new amps/subs/mids/highs will be put on hold till further notice.

So, due to that predicament, I'm considering of doing a new and final box design for my cvr12, been thinking of doing a 4th order, even I do love my ported box, it's an idea that just popped up cause I've been told Kickers do better in sealed, though I do hate them, but since a 4th order is sealed inside ported, idea popped up. Also plan on going to a local car show next 2 weeks to get metered, if I do a 130, I'll be amazed lol.

Well, just came back from an SPL Show in Sanford yesterday and here's a few pics

They measured legal and outlaw

My scores are

136.8 db at 54 hz burp Outlaw

136.3 db at 51 hz music Outlaw

135 db on music and burp Legal

For the equipment I'm running, on stock electrical, in trunk car and on a musical box, I'm surprised

Thank you sir :)

Yeah, I'm still surprised cause of the equipment I'm running, but I guess proper installation, right enclosure, and running double rms does it. Think the car is easy to get loud in too cause it peaks pretty high but I don't know.

Though still gonna go for the SQL build I wanna do, I just metered for curiosity, though got a lot to save for in the future plans, but at the meantime, been saving up for an AQ 120.4 since I'm tired of headunit power for my mids and highs.
