Omega5002
Box kooks alright . Long as it sounds brtter then ull be alright. Any concern about it being peaky with that 10" port Doesn't sound peaky on the low power I tested it on, and the port area is about 11 per at 33hz. 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)
Omega5002
Here's some updatesInstalled my new groundPlastidipped the area to protect from corrosionAnd after struggling, lots of jig saw cuts, and being glad that I didn't give the box a nice finishHere it is insideNow, you're wondering, how to screw every screwWell, I went out and bought this for $8Everything screwed in, now just need to hook everything up, also gonna re plasti dip the box, gonna go to a show on Sunday, and want it to look halfway decent.I decided not to hook everything up tonight because whenever I work on my car at night, something bad happens, so gonna do it tomorrow, don't worry, I'll get it playing lol 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)
Omega5002
Few extra updates Fitting 8 gauge speaker wire is a pain in these woofers Problem solved >>Here's some updates Installed my new ground hmm im no expert but wtf man thats ghetto. The fuck? That's not ghetto, that's a clean way to insert oversized wire, and the ground location is on a 2 1/0 block I got from Home Depot, that's a good ground for my car. Get the fuck out my build log if you're not an expert, or don't know. Ghetto is using electrical tape instead of a heat shrink, and using screws to hold down my grounds 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)
Omega5002
no im not calling the block ghetto im just calling having wires frayed out everywhere thats ghetto. hell mine isnt like that. and those subs terminals look small as fuck Yeah, you probably don't realize that Car Audio 1/0 is bigger than standard 1/0, so yes I had frays, but I addressed that issue by covering it up with plasti dip to protect it. Yes, the terminals are shit, but I wanted to use 8 gauge speaker wire, and I did that. My ground wires are secure, pull on it all you want, won't go nowhere, and the block is heavily bolted onto my frame. 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)
