Daniel J Blitch Posted April 30, 2012 Report Posted April 30, 2012 Hey Guys, I posted what vehicle I am working with now; which is a 1997 GMC K2500 Diesel Suburban. I am more a Sound quality guy for sure and I know that it costs more money depending on how well I want it to sound but, like anything its just money, time, sweat and a few cuss words... Ohhh and a case or two of Beer I am going to be taking out the interior and replacing the carpet and everything as I am very particular about how clean something is and how I hate stuff being out of order or place. That doesn't mean I don't custom things, I am the type that will spend a extra week on something to make sure every angle is covered. So, that being said I won't be able to buy enough sound deader to cover the entire inside unless someone hooks me up with a hella deal haha, but I am going to do the doors and certain areas that will need it. So enough for the intro; I was going to ask what guys thought would be the "best" when I say best I am saying in a reasonable price range, I'm like most people and don't have unlimited money to throw at just one thing so at a reasonable price what would be the best(I say that hesitant on a forum full of priceless systems). Also what sets of components would be best from $150-$250- I was looking at Mb Quart Pvi216's but Idk many people who use them. Like I said I am a sound quality guy but I like it very loud as well without distortion, along without taxing all my equipment. We all know that pushing your system at %100 on music a lot will shorten the life big time. So, basically I am just trying to build a relationship with the forum and start learning from you guys and collaborating ideas. Tweeters in the A-pillars and 6.5s in the stock door locations (with a few modifications) ... That would be a great place to Start ...
