David Posted December 24, 2007 Report Share Posted December 24, 2007 what is the yr and make of the car. they make some strutbag kits for cars that dont have direct bolt ins, thats what I used AirRide Technologies is probably your best bet. David Posted December 24, 2007 Report Share Posted December 24, 2007 let me see if I can find pics of before it was welded. ok here are some pics of my rear strut bags, if you look at them the bottom of the strut has no place to mount anything, then the next photo shows a piece of steel that needs to be welded on to get your proper ride hieght ( you have to cut that steel piece to what ever length you want), I went extreme and made it as short as i could and still get some lift. no recone pics, sorry, I wont do that until the end, suspension first, then audio.I have been working on the car tho. I forgot to get a pic of the old strut still installed. oh well. test fitting the new airbag-strut. cleaned up abit. painted airstrut, cut but not welded yet.
