Amp Cutting in an out

Recommended Posts

I just swapped my dieing RF 8002 w/ a Kenwood KAC 9102D, should be about 300W mor because my RF was down to one channel.

so probelm 1, i dont feel the bass as much, i dont have access to a Mic so i cant tell if it is as loud, but it doesnt seem like it, im thinking it is because of the sub sonic filter @ 25Z, the RF didnt have one.

problem 2)the amp is cutting in and out of me. at first it was the secondary ground [lil screw to the left of the RCAs labeled GND] hooked that up and its all good. going down the highway to day it cuts off, comes back on a couple minutes later, cuts off, comes back on. i couldnt associate it with any certain movement or anything... im @ a complete loss... any ideas?
