bluelceii
This probably isn't worth a whole new thread but I was just wondering... I've had my DD1 for maybe a month(?) used it once or twice and then put it away. then I pulled it out the other day to use it again and the battery was dead on/in it (The one that was sent with it). Is there a reason why? I have NO problem what so ever in buying a new battery for it, I was just wondering if there was/is an issue with that because I thought it had an auto-off thingy on it... ?? meade916
i don't remember shipping any with a battery. Go buy an Energizer or Duracell and call it a day. bluelceii
Hmm... Well hell, I don't know. I can't even remember half of yesterday, let alone a month ago. Like I said, it's no big deal in buying another battery. Just trying to make sure if it was just a used battery or if it was the device but I can't remember. Sorry about whatever misunderstanding. meade916
its no prob bro..if you put a new battery in it and it dies a quick death, let us know we will take a look at your DD-1 and see if it has a problem. There is an auto-turn off circuit built into it to prevent that from happening though. BigPunSuperBass
So its recommended to use a good battery because it will drain a cheapo and give false readings maybe?
