I checked the powers and grounds on my big 3, powers and grounds on my rear batts, amps, everything and nothing seems loose or corroded. Charged my batts and issue still persists. So here's the thing, when I turn my car on and have it sitting my voltage is good, when I'm driving my voltage is good, BUT when my car is in gear and and I'm at a stop my voltage drops into the mid 12s. It does that even if nothing is on (stereo, light, etc) What do you guys think it could be? If it just started doing this but didnt before... One of two things.. Either your rectifier is going out or you have some batteries pulling more current than they used to before. Like they are going bad or need to be charged overnite. What could cause the rectifier to go out? Especially this fast, it's only been about a year and the car gets used like 1 a month if that.
