What if i take them out?

if you stay at what you are at now you are fine. if you go to likw 1/2 inch you are still ok. but once you start getting to decent sizes they "dont want to risk your ears getting cought or ripped" on anything. its descrimination and you can sue the company for it. but im not that big of a dick to even think about that.

your best bet would be to just stay around or under half inch till you get the job then see what they say about you going bigger.

Same here. My dad was a machinist for Kaiser Aluminium and still has all the cutting parts for making stuff. is it worth it? Money wise i mean?

i work at a machine shop, (about 6months now) and i just fell in love with it (especially the CNC machines) and i plan on going to school for it one of these days.

Im intrested in stereos (Duh) and im intrested in acoustics and hw music works.. i got a demo program where i can slow the music down and deepen the pitch..and i can tweak songs to make them cool or cooler.. i just wish i could make a carrear from it

i have a lathe and a bunch of miscelanious machines that i use. you have to watch what materials you make them out of. certain woods, all aluminum forms (6061, 2021,7075.. etc) they can seriously hurt your health permanently. i promote trying it, ive tried teaching other kids how to machine that kinda stuff and they just couldnt get it. using a manuel lathe is your best bet, i made a pair on the haas cnc lathe in my old tech class and it wasnt worth it, you spend too much time programming. goodluck

if your using a manuel lathe and you can do it without mistake the first time. then its worth it. i can make a pair of tunnels that cost me maybe 6 bucks and 2 hours to make and i can sell them for like 45 bucks and people will jump to buy them. its worth it if you sell wholesale or in bulk to your local stores. one order for 12 plugs got me enough money to buy my first FI BTL. so it is worth it if you know places and/or people to buy from you.

i have my lobes up to 1 1/4 inch, 10g's above those and two 14 gauge lip rings.

and for the people wondering what kind of job i could have with my lobes bieng so big, i dont have a job.

i make plugs, tunnels, and gauges for a living. and a bunch of other stuff also.

sorry it took so long to reply. a squirrel chewed through our phone lines but the phopne companyt wouldnt fix it till after the holidays.

I just had my ear lobes bumped up another size to 2g last night. They only had double flared hollow plugs which I don't like cause they are a pain in the ass to take out, do you make or sell them with just 1 side flared?
