best box for two 15" subs in suv

Recommended Posts

it all come down to space first off, best in your words may not fit,

then you need to decide on what you want to achieve,

sub up, port back is the most common,

sub fwd, port fwd sealed, walled should be the loudest,

back/back , or back/back wedge ive found to sound the nicest

Best thing to do is right down the max dimension? (or space willing to give up)

What is the height of you back seats/window line? (alot of people like to stay under or on this line)

Is the dimensions you gave wall to wall? if so or not, witch are on the wall, and how far the others are from a wall

What sub you have, and mdl, (+ specs if you have)

what amp and mdl (+ specs if you have)

Do you have preferences on port style (aero, slot, external aero)

Then after all this, you will no what your options are with position of subs and port

Your got around 14cuft gross there

So you can either

Sub up/port back

Sub up/port up

Sup back/port back

Up and back with 1 common wall port seems to be the best all round option

But with you can make the deepth smaller to give you some trunk space if you keep 20 high and all lower the deepth as your 50" in width,
