I wanna see the way this turns out, any future mods to it?

The tweeter pods are made from 1" inside diameter PVC end caps.With lamp threaded pipe it works really good just have to high strength thread lock on the nuts.The pics for the way I put it together didn't come out. I'll work on redoing the way I did them if anyone wants to see them.

The way the tweets should stay in is by wrapping them with black tape or foam insulation.So that way they can be removed easily for changing or work.But do to the 100 plus temps last summer I had to use emblem silicon to withstand the temp.She works at wally world warehouse so the parking lot has no shade.So it melted the foam I used plus destroyed some RVinyl used on the console.I put a thermometer with peak temp hold on it in the car and was shock at the temp.I would range from 129 to 146 degrees in the car.No wonder it screwed up so much.The trim will be removed again to be painted plus the doors and dash.I'll rework the pods then.

This is what stoped me last month.She had a belly ach.

Figured it was the valve spring was busted which would been a easy fix.But instead I found that the #4 valve seat fell out and shattered putting a 1/4" hole in the #4 piston.

Cracked the #3 piston also plus busted up 3 of the injecters.Well in order to fix it I had to haule it to the mecanic where we dropped the sub frame to rebuild the moter.When he put it back together He forgot to put the big three back on so have to redo that.lol

This is where I'm at today doing the amp trim covers.Will get them cut and glassed in a day or so.Tommorow I'll put some vids of what it sounds like at this point.Keep in mind that the comps and rear speakers will be replaced with RocfordFosgates.

Yes sir the rear deck will be glassed.As far as the car I plan on getting ground effects on it plus rims later this year.Looking for front and rear lights that I like for it also.I want to see how this turns out also actually want to see it done lol.Seeing the pics of the work everyone else doesn't compared what it actually takes is a big difference lol.

How did you make the star on the box?

I used 1/8" thick closed cell foam then used a heat gun to soften the vinyl to form around it.Learned it don't take much to melt it either and to wear gloves gets a little hot on the fingers lol.

Once I figured out where the sub cut out will be.Then from the edge of the sub cut line measured center marked it across the board.Then drew lines across the top and bottom of the sub cut lines.Found the center between the sub cut outs.Figured how much of a arch I wanted then free hand the top the way I wanted.Made measurements across the center to top then made the same measurements on the bottom from center.I tried templates with no satisfaction so went old school over the top crap lol.This is the way I did it.Probably easier ways but I don't know them yet lol.I forgot if the trim panel looks closer on the bottom than the top it's not the way I took the picture.I forgot to figure for the vinyl so it moved up 1/8" from where it was supose to sit .I am too lazy to redo it I'll just move the box up 1/8" to make up for it.
