Doing the big 3 x2?

I was wondering if doing multiple runs in a big 3 such as 2 runs from alt to bat and 2 runs from bat to ground etc. would that be better than doing 1 run? or would it not make much of a difference?

single alt should be find on a single run of 1/0 for big 3. Unless you have a battery in the rear and the alt upfront. Then maybe I would do a 2nd run for the ++. The distance plus engine and car heat will increase the resistance on a single run. If everything is under the hood and you are running a single alt then I wouldn't bother. If you still have issues after the big 3 in 1/0 you will want to start looking at upgrading other hardware or adding a 2nd alt if possible.

Simple to figure this out, first ask yourself how big is my alt? Is it over 300 amp? If not then one run of 1/0 is plenty, but if you have more amp output then what the cable is rated then add more wire or bigger wire. Just like running power wire for an amplifier.
