I hooked it up to an ammeter, and it showed some really big fluctuations as I turned up the volume. Could it be a problem with the ampere it's receiving? At the moment it's receiving 4 ampere.

So something is telling me that the amplifier simply gives out too much ampere? I don't know... All I know is that a 40 ampere fuse for an amplifier is a lot, right?
STEvil Posted May 15, 2012 Report Posted May 15, 2012 40 is nothing and amps being drawn by the amplifier will fluctuate depending on the output. Unless you're using a sine wave you cant tell shit. You should have stuck with the original thread, now anyone who didnt read it has no idea what your issue is, like me, and i'm too lazy to dig up your other thread. Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it.
