Integrated Motor Assist electrical question

Hello everyone. This post marks my return after a few years from being absent from the site and I'm ready to get back into the game.

On to my question and this may be a weird one. Does anyone own a vehicle with an IMA engine and have you installed an aftermarket stereo? My reason for asking is because I'm currently looking to buy a new car but the one I'm looking at has an IMA engine from Honda and I'm told it doesn't have an alternator. This immediately draws red flags for me. There is some kind of charging that goes on for the tiny stock 12v battery but I have no idea what kind of current the IMA motor is able to send to the battery and I'm afraid I may not be able to get this car because of this. Im looking to run around 3000 rms but thats just a rough estimate. If anyone owns a car like this or has installed a stereo in a car like this and has some tips to give, that would be awesome.
