port is on top with subs the pic is from the top. so 20in deep minus 1.5 for wood is 18.5

That's a helluva lot of displacement for only 2 woofers. SMD 18 is only .26 cuft.

yeah i cant find the displacement for my atomics so i found the equivilent from rd and theres say .31 per sub

Well you should probably seek larger port area, and at least check for manufacturer recommendations on net volume, many 15s work well above 3 cubes.

So what I need to do is make the box bigger and adjust the port accordingly. I wanna do a interchangable port for daily and spl. How can I do this?
