Amart88 Posted May 15, 2012 Report Posted May 15, 2012 Ok, So I plan On stacking my 2 Crescendo BC3500's using threaded rod. I got 1/4 inch threaded rod and come to find out its ever so slightly bigger than the mounting holes on the amp. Do you think it would hurt if I drilled the holes out a tiny bit to fit the rod? I got 1/4 inch rod because anything smaller seemed really flimsy and I didn't trust it. Thanks My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled.
SilveradoGoesBang Posted May 15, 2012 Report Posted May 15, 2012 It won't hurt the amp might effect value later on if you sell it. SilveradoGoesBang Posted May 15, 2012 Report Posted May 15, 2012 You Could mount both amps to a piece of Mdf and use the rod on the wood instead of the amp mounting holes.
