AI James
well if your box rise is to 2ohm each sundown puts out like 900rms so maybe 1800 together? thats why alot of people buy them to strap at 1ohm. As stated before they arent warrantied below that 1ohm rating but thats pretty much where most zenon amps excell

thacarter546
Theyre not amazing, but they are pretty nice amps, i know this isnt very scientific, but i can set my gains to about 1400 at a 2 ohm load before my coils get hot. i honestly dont think it puts out any more than that at that load. i really wanna try it at 1/2 ohm, but havent got the time or courage to try it yet. mad3indade305
I wired my a3000db at .35 and ran it daily HARD with a stock electrical. Amp got hot and didnt fail me for 6 months. Still hasn't, just upgrading from 1 18" BTL to something else. I'm thinking i probably had major imp. rise though. I have full confidence that they will handle 1 ohm all day long, but .35 is pushing it. AI James
its also pretty dependant on your charging system as towhat low ohm it will handle
01xtreme
IMO I dont care if I hadmeade's charging system, I wouldn't hae the balls to run these amps @ .35 ohms. I dont know of many amps that can handle that low of a resistance. AI James
people run sundowns and every other zenon amp at those loads all the time
01xtreme
people run sundowns and every other zenon amp at those loads all the time I know, but you said it yourself, they are much better quality amps. The sundowns I was running were running in a car where 4 of them were run @ .35 ohms. I know the owner of Sundown said he would only warranty amps @ that ohm load if they had a charging system he thought would support that.
