soundstream15 Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 i have had my audioque 1200d for a few months, i got a few questions on it. it says to have the sub sonic filter at 30hz, i have mine at 25hz.. is that ok or should it be set to 30hz the lpf is set to 110-115 and im pretty sure that is what it calls for. is this to high? i fill like it should be set to 80hz Quote

And that is pretty high. Set it to wherever your mids drop off. You can play with it till it sounds good. Quote

Some people like a nice ass massage thats because its truly not a sub bass frequency. its more of a mid bass. However it does take a very strong mid range to play those frequencies and allow you to cross over that low.
