i have had my audioque 1200d for a few months, i got a few questions on it.

it says to have the sub sonic filter at 30hz, i have mine at 25hz.. is that ok or should it be set to 30hz

the lpf is set to 110-115 and im pretty sure that is what it calls for. is this to high? i fill like it should be set to 80hz

What are you tuned to?

What what calls for? And that is pretty high. Set it to wherever your mids drop off. You can play with it till it sounds good.

if you are tuned to 38 hz you should probably have it set around 33 tbh. playing way under tuning can be bad for your woofers health.

x2 on the above posts, i'd cross your lpf at 80-100, and set your infrasonic ~5hz below tuning. Setting it properly will make it so you dont have to worry about turning it down on lower note songs so much.

Personally I don't like a whole lot about the 63-80hz range, but that's just me. Subwoofers are meant to play lower frequencies at most times, but it's all in personal preference. Some people like a nice ass massage

i dont play under 30hz full tilt tho, not sure if that matters man...

doesn't matter. what if you're playing a song and all of a sudden a 25hz note comes on? you'd bottom the crap out of your subs.

thats because its truly not a sub bass frequency. its more of a mid bass. However it does take a very strong mid range to play those frequencies and allow you to cross over that low.
