ok in these gehtto of times i currently drive a 2001 Seat Ibiza Cupra 20valve Turbo.

its fast enough to keep me amused the only problem that it has the worst deck/headunit going!

note no place to put a headunit!

there are custom fabricated ways around it but to be honest im not in the mood to cut up my dash/center console at the moment!

custom option is this ie cut away half the internals/cut the PCB for the gehtto tape playaaa and then smooth the buttons around the top screen(its not been done in this pic but if it where me id do it! ie the round knob at the top the bass/treble bal/fad etc but on both sides as they are used for the standard radio). and the screen would then be 100% climate/ac unit!

ANYWAY! convoluted way of asking but is there such a thing as a bare speaker wire to RCA adapter?! pros and cons ?!?

Yes. It's called a line-out converter.

Pros: it turns high level input into an RCA signal

Cons: IIRC, most of them are dirty (i.e. cause distortion)

Another option is to use amps that utilize high level inputs.

Cut nothing! Get the Line Output Converter, it works like a champ if you aren't too fussy about sound. Especially works well for just a sub stage.

it will be just a sub stage. for a custom boot floor flush mounted Type R 1223D,

BUT future plans are Full Rainbow/focal components in the front/rear and sub and a decent headunit!

i personally like using a LC6i for things like that. it will sum up totals of all factory crossed over speakers and give you a decent RCA out signal
