Realtech214 Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 I want to upgrade my 2 10" pioneers and 500W amp. This is a cheap setup but sounds good. Just want much louder/more bass! I would like to spend around 600-700$ on new amp & subs. What are some suggestions? 2002 Saturn!
V8SRSLO Posted May 23, 2012 Report Posted May 23, 2012 thats a little rough in that price range could probably go with a Hifonics Brutus BRZ series amp and DC audio lvl 2's or maybe lvl 3's. Do you have the big 3 done? glad to see you made it to the forum.. i had a feeling you would chime in on this. there are some real knee slappers that happen in this sub forum.. so be prepared.

Green Preme Hats Posted May 24, 2012 Report Posted May 24, 2012 Im trying to determine what two subs to buy for about $200-$250 a piece to run 2500rms. I've looked so far at 2 RE SXX 12"s or 2 FI SSD's. Any suggestions or advice? (Either 12" or 15")
Crandis16 Posted May 26, 2012 Report Posted May 26, 2012 From personal experience I have seen voltage drop at 500wrms on idle and I drive a 98' escort. the big 3 should help and you might want to look into get another battery in the trunk, if not a H/O alt under the hood. You give a mouse a cooking and he'll want a glass of milk, or in this case another battery or a H/O alternator lol.
