bbron12
I have a 1998 RS coupe thats WRX swapped. EVERYTHING was swapped from a 2002 wrx. Engine, tranny, rear end, suspension, interior, dashboard, and the gauge cluster is from an 04 wrx. I love the car, its hella fast, has a VF23 Turbo, STi 550cc Injectors, and espiler catback exhaust for now for performance, but more will come! Here are pics of my Car. For a system, I wanted to keep it clean and simple. I used components i already had. FYI, this was my first REAL build, ive installed many systems, but this is the first one I designed and hand made everything. So if cuts arnt 100% sorry, its that im new to it, and EVERYTHING was done in my basement. Components include: >Pioneer FH-P5000MP headunit >Stinger 1 Farad Capacitor, carpeted (should be 2 farad, but im only running 600 rms) >4 gauge power, 2 gauge ground wiring >(2) Pheonix Gold 10" Subs (forgot the model, ill check later lol) 250 wrms 4 ohm SVC each >Hifonics BRZ1700.1D Amp - 1700@1 1200@2 600@4 (big for these 2 subs i know, but was from a different build that never was finished, and its 600 at 4 ohms at 14.4V and i know my car generaly puts out about 13.4-13.6v while running, so I figure each sub is about 25-40 RMS over powered when maxed, and the amp gain is turned down and the control knob never goes over 3/4 anyways, so id say its just a perfect amp) Here are my 'step by step pics' ^there is a bigger fan on the opposite side pushing air in, and this one pulling air out. I think it came out great for my first time build. Its also much louder than i expected too. The only thing id like to do is to hide those 3-4 inches of cable under the cap. I havent metered it or anything, but I was expecting just a little bump to add to the music, but it thumps pretty darn good!
