I don't want to build a huge ass 6th order if I can't use part of my current ported box. E34 540iT/6

Not a whole lot of box knowledge over here.. you cant just add onto a ported box you already have because in a bandpass you have both sides of the sub loaded. it operates an entirely different way. in a standard ported configuration only the rear of the sub is loaded,, as in a bandpass the front and rear are both loaded.
