IndianaBassHead
What's up guys! Sorry for all of the posts lately but one last question. I built a box for a wall for my 2 hdc3 18s and it turns out that they will actually fit laying down with subs and port facing up. My question is, is there any benefit to building a wall and spending all the extra time and money for that? How much louder would a wall be, if even louder at all. I know subs up port back is the way to go but at this point I don't want to rebuild the box. Oh and it's in an 03 Tahoe with the second row seats still in. So the wall would be behind the bench seat. Thanks! john253a
wall will be much louder, smaller area = more pressure
IndianaBassHead
so you're saying a wall would be louder than subs up/port back as well? IndianaBassHead
ok cool. I will take the extra time to make the wall then. But everyone else told me the opposite that's why I was concerned. A lot of conflicting info lol. But thanks man! appreciate it. john253a
pm some other people with walls and ask them, you can still get big numbers without a wall, but you need the space for the subs as well, when you lie the down for up/up will you have a back seat or not, if no, and you wall it will you, this will also answer your question
