Kikazz's 1997 Dodge Dakota Club Cab SQ Build *Updated!!!*

Recommended Posts

got some updates. added a new layer and did bolts and threaded inserts instead of screws and did a amp rack. (idea stolen from REVO) pics coming

Glad I could be of inspiration! Any reason why you decided to move the amp, though?

^ on alot of songs there was a certain frequency range that would give it a really bad skreeching rattle. so i couldnt play a good 30-40 songs that i like because of it and being scared it was gonna hurt something. but i saw ur amp rack and i liked the area since its basically the same truck. so i tried to build one but it kinda sucks

^good thing about this is it just sits on my back seats. all i gotta do to use them again is pull sub and box and i have my back seat again. i was originally going to put it right on the platic/fiberglass storage bays but my dad got pissed when i mentioned it. i just have to rachet strap it down or it rocks and moves alot

Did you use any glue or anything on those threaded inserts to make sure they don't come out when you wanna unscrew the sub? I'm gonna put some of those in my box once I get the Fi.
