KiKaZz74
ill try to get a few more vids and some new pics. next part on this is either performance and exterior looks or i wanna do something with new speakers and try to fiberglass some tweets into my doors. the ones i have now tho are pretty good for me they are plenty loud for HU power. might have to get one of those inline amps to hook to the deck for a bit more power if nothing else My SPL to SQ Build Log Vehicle:1997 Dodge Dakota Ext Cab 4x4 2009 Dodge Journey SXT5.2L V8 Magnum 3.5L V6 Stock AltEquipment: Headunit- Alpine CDE-147BT Mids/Highs Amp- JL Audio G6600 Class AB 6 Channel Sub Amp- Hifonics BRZ1700.1D @ 2 Ohms Taramps DSP3000.1D Sub- Hertz Hi Energy 12" HX300D SounDrive SDA3 12 Tweeters- Rockford Fosgate Power Series Silk Domes Hertz Hi-Energy Mids- Dayton Audio Reference 4" Full Range Drivers Midbass- Silver Flute 6.5" Hertz Hi-Energy 6.5" Processor- MiniDSP 2x4 RCA- 6 channels of SounDrive HF series Wire- EB Flex 2/0 -Member of Team SounDrive
REVOofRustler
How's that sand/paint holding up? It looks like it turned out really well! What kind of performance/suspension mods have you been thinkin of? I'd love to just do a simple 2 inch lift to my Dakota to make it a tad more aggressive, but I've found that there's hardly any aftermarket support out there for these trucks. 2002 Dodge Dakota 4.7 club cab - Sold 2004 Audi S4 Avant - Fi and Crescendo - Stock Bose System - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/147725-2002-dodge-dakota-end-of-the-road/?hl=%202002%20%20dakota 136.4 Sealed @ 29hz 137.0 Drivers window open @ 26hz
KiKaZz74
The pain it's doing great. It sucks to remove the sub tho because the gasket melts to the paint and peels it. Im working in some mods right to the box and amp. Suspension wise idrk. I found a 6" full suspension lift but it's like $1500. What I wanted to do tho is some 17/18" rims with a aggressive bite tire. But that's still around $1300 and I probably won't have thIs truck much longer. It's getting old My SPL to SQ Build Log Vehicle:1997 Dodge Dakota Ext Cab 4x4 2009 Dodge Journey SXT5.2L V8 Magnum 3.5L V6 Stock AltEquipment: Headunit- Alpine CDE-147BT Mids/Highs Amp- JL Audio G6600 Class AB 6 Channel Sub Amp- Hifonics BRZ1700.1D @ 2 Ohms Taramps DSP3000.1D Sub- Hertz Hi Energy 12" HX300D SounDrive SDA3 12 Tweeters- Rockford Fosgate Power Series Silk Domes Hertz Hi-Energy Mids- Dayton Audio Reference 4" Full Range Drivers Midbass- Silver Flute 6.5" Hertz Hi-Energy 6.5" Processor- MiniDSP 2x4 RCA- 6 channels of SounDrive HF series Wire- EB Flex 2/0 -Member of Team SounDrive
REVOofRustler
I have the same problem with the gasket on my sub! I made sure to sand down the baffle where the gasket goes the last time I had my box out, so we'll see how well that works out. There was a Dakota around my area with a solid axle swap on coils, and it looked AMAZING! I'm sure he had at least 7-8 grand into it though. 2002 Dodge Dakota 4.7 club cab - Sold 2004 Audi S4 Avant - Fi and Crescendo - Stock Bose System - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/147725-2002-dodge-dakota-end-of-the-road/?hl=%202002%20%20dakota 136.4 Sealed @ 29hz 137.0 Drivers window open @ 26hz
